I am a potter and ceramic artist, designing and producing earthenware and stoneware ceramics. I run a studio pottery at Patchings Farm Art Centre, just outside Nottingham which opened in February this year.

Taking inspiration from rock pools and organic forms I make slab built, coiled and thrown ceramic pieces applying seaweed and barnacle shapes with layers of clay peeling off to add texture to the finished piece. I also produce thrown and coiled ceramic vases and bowls decorated with white and bright blue glazes with metallic effects. I will be selling my pottery in my new studio as well as local and national craft fairs and in various galleries around the country.

I will be running pottery classes and one off half day pottery and ceramic workshops in my new studio - go to the COURSES link for more information for dates of workshops and term times.
